J & L Photography was started in 2006 by John Vain and wife Linda. John had been shooting Nature Images since 1991. During this time John was active in several local and national photography organizations.

John's approach to wedding photography is to be unobtrusive, capturing the moments of your day as they unfold. Yes, John will be more than happy to photograph "Formals" of family and wedding party.

Senior Portraits/Photos are photographed on location. Several packages are offered starting at $75.00 or selections may be made from our A-La_Carte Menu.

Capturing Game Day Action Images that Parents and Family can enjoy for years to come is the goal of J & L Photography. J & L Photography is available for League Contract Assignment and Individual Contract Photography.

Fine Art Prints and Photo Note-cards are an extension of John's love of Nature.

To capture theese images, Epson Pro Series Printers and Paper along with Canon Pro Cameras and Lenses are used. Archival materials are used in making Prints and framing, while Photo Note-cards are made with recycled card stock and a 4 x 6 authentic fine art print, an envelope and two sheets of parchment paper is included for your correspondence leaving the card blank for framing.

Headshots for aspiring actors/actresses or models are done on location. To be effective a Headshot must capture an Accurate Representation plus your Unique Personallty and be an Engaging-Creative Original photograph.
